This leadership development programme was created for a team working on projects that directly affect farming communities and rural livelihoods. Such work demands strong coordination across many people, locations and responsibilities, and the training focused on helping the team strengthen direction, communication and accountability. Participants explored the foundations of effective leadership, from setting a clear vision to guiding colleagues through the practical challenges of field-based and institutional work.
Through group exercises, case discussions and honest reflection, team members examined how they make decisions, how they share responsibility and how they hold one another accountable in a constructive way. The programme gave participants a common leadership framework and practical techniques for aligning effort around shared goals. By the end, the team had a stronger sense of collective purpose and a clearer path for turning good intentions into dependable results.
